It has come to light that the TSA has ordered all domestic airlines to violate the privacy rights of our citizens. There are 2 very major legal issues that must be answered before the TSA should be allowed to abuse our citizens.

1. No passenger ever consented to this violation of privacy. The TSA is putting all airlines at legal risk of breach of contract as the implicit contracts that are part of buying a ticket make no mention of this abuse of privacy.

2. There is absolutely no oversight of this process. The TSA under Bush has been given a free reign to abuse the citizens of our country, to violate anyone's rights, and to never have to answer for what many consider to be violations of our Constitution.

No way am I correctly giving you all that personal info you just asked for even though I believe you are correct in many ways. To comment on your first talking point, the U. S government has been restricting free travel for Americans for decades. When was the last time you tried to make a trip to Cuba--only 90 miles away? Get your act together with this website if you plan on getting the support of people you need for a good cause!

why do you need all of the above information about me? I agree with TSA! Wake up you dummies, the government is trying to protect all Americans! If you haven't done anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about! What's a little inconvenience for the price of security? If The Clinton administration had done more like George Bush is trying to do, there may not have been a disaster on Sept. 11th., 2001! Thank God for Bush and his adminstration in forming the Patriot Act! Don't you people realize that terrorists want to harm our country any way that they can? Please don't impede our government in their righful pursuit to protect the United States of America! If they don't, who will? It sure can't be Bill Scannell or his group! We have to trust the TSA!

I did not waive my constitutional right to unlawful search and seizure of my information! This is EXACTLY what our founding fathers were afraid of, and why they wrote the constitution as they did!!
And as for the TSA being a bunch of boneheads, here is a personal example:
I flew several times between TX and CA or OR for consultant work, carying a softsided laptop case. It wasnt until I had made a dozen trips between home and the west coast that I was searching through my bag for something when I found an orange plastic handled X-Acto modeling knife! This is a knife which would easily do damage to human skin tissue or arterial passages (ex: carotid arteries).
This bag has been through the screening x-ray machines at least 2 to 3 dozen times, and not ONE TSA employee caught it! It has since been removed from the bag, so as not to cause any problems if/when I ever fly again, but realizing that it DID get through many many times scares the hell out of me, because if "I" made it through (a proud, moral US citizen), what wacko could get one through for devious means!?!?!
Dodge will be my "carrier" from now on!
They better look at THEMSELVES before looking at the whole country!

I flew in June of 2004, returning home from visiting my critically ill father. Big Brother does not need to oversee my life in any way, shape or form. I do not appreciate the thought that I may have to watch my backside in my own country. Maybe Mexico or Canada would be better for me and other law abiding people? George Orwell, you did not know half the story.

I firmly believe that if such information is handed over in UNSAFE or TSA hands it will further damage the already struggling airline industry, as people would prefer to take alternatives means of transport. People are still skeptical to fly after 9/11 and now with this scrutiny it will just strenghten their mistrust in the airline industry. And as for the airlines busniess "get ready to file more bankruptcy."

You can all stop crying at any time now. If you have nothing to hide than shut up. I have nothing to hide and if they want to know if I had a kosher meal than who cares! You people are the reason why 9-11 happened. Complaining about how long it takes to get on your plane or getting checked out at airport security. The only way to be 100% safe in this country is if they go even farther than what they are trying to do now. This secure flight non-sense is not going to be full proof either. All you do is put your effort towards complaining. Why not turn your efforts into putting your own ideas forward instead if crying. Your problem is you don't have any better ideas so shut up and let our elected officials do their jobs.
